  First time dining here and I was very pleased with service and the food was excellent!  My steak was cooked to my liking but needed a touch more salt and pepper..... other than that, love it! Will return soon when I crave some Japanese food! Mahalo!

  Long standing Japanese restaurant in Mililani.
  No frills, straightforward expectations.
  
  Easy menu, and very expansive.
  Reasonably priced.
  Very friendly staff.
  
  Clean restaurant.
  Nice ambiance.
  
  Food is tasty, very big portions.
  Worth checking out.
  I would go back.

  My husband picked this restaurant to have our dinner date and I got to say it was good we got the jalapeño bomb and stuffed spicy tuna mushrooms appetizer..... main dish we got the butter fish and mixed tempura and mixed tempura delicious I also had the Hanna sake sampler apple, lychee and peach flavors yummy  it's a great portion we actually didn't finish are meal or appetizers.  2 thumbs up   if your in Mililani town center stop on by

  I have been coming here for many years but recently they seemed to up their game in decor, service, and food. First off they are a lot more busy then before and I can tell why.
  Service:  
  They hired more waitresses and they are very cute and friendly. The entire staff works as a team to cover tables, refill waters and teas, and serve the tables. Even the sushi bar staff helps out. I rate it A+.
  
  Decor:
  They made an in-room sushi bar which adds to ambience and offers customers a chance to take a look at the quality of fish and the way it's prepared. Before it looked more like a bar that served food and now looks more like a Japanese restaurant. I rate it B+.
  
  Food:
  The food has always been good. The menu is also pretty extensive. I usually get the steak or kalbi, tempura combo. The steak comes out on a hot plate with sliced onions and it makes to food taste great! Tempura is perfectly cooked and I just wish they offered Daikon Oroshi (grated radish) with the tempura sauce. My kids love the Teri hamburger with fries kids meal. My wife likes their fish and tempura combos.  I rate the food an A.
  
  Overall Maru-Hi is a very good Korean run-Japanese restaurant at Mililani Town Center. My family always enjoying here.

  My very good friend and fellow yelper took me for my first time for lunch on a Sunday. When we got there we were sad to find out that their lunch "bento box" specials were only during the weekdays not the weekends, but our delicious lunch was very affordable especially for the amount of food given. We shared a spicy ahi roll (so good, with the right amount of spice). I ordered the beef teri and tampura combo which comes with salad, miso soup, rice, and 3 small sides (edamame, dikon, pickled cabbage). I enjoyed everything! I will definitely be back for more!
